Well, this probably wasn't exactly what your digging for (heck, I'll keep my repugnant habits to myself, thank you ), yet my tendancy to procrastinate is a bad habit of mine (or rather the pillar upon which the foundation of my life is built). If there is something that needs to absolutely be done today, I'll do it tomorrow (or conveniently forget about it until the next day). Curse me! When I think of all the stress (and boy has there been a lot of it) that could have been avoided by being more organized/prepared I realize how foolish I am. I guess I have the habbit of analyzing people too much. Mainly for self-protection of course, some people can be real jerks and rub you the wrong way ALL the time.. so I've leanred to stay away from that. Sorry, it's not really that interesting, but it is my habbit. BTW... my pix is ready heh heh heh.. ------------------ |

IanZ-pervert!!! Just Kidding. My habits? I bite my nails. I have a weird habit in the way I eat pizza. I always pick off the peperoni and eat it 1st. I then eat the cheese off the piece of pizza. I of course finish off the piece itself. I do this for every piece I eat. If I don't do it, it feels weird to eat the piece ------------------ |

Wow. I guess it's time for the older people to say what thier habbits are, and now I feel dirty I smoked for almost a year (I've "quit" for almost a month now) And I used to drink heavily. I still drink, but not nearly as much as I used to. I was really bad. There was a lot of stuff going on in my little world. I'm not proud, and I'm glad I've cut down. It's wierd becasue when I was smaller I was always told that alcohol (and cigarettes) were bad, and I always agreed to never do them. Funny how things change when you have no more friends, and no reason to live. Funny. I have a bad habit of being too aggressive. If someone pisses me off I tend to go and beat the crap out of them or break something. I played a lot of sport as a kid and I developed a really competitive nature 'cause my dad always taught me to give everything 100% and not to take crap from anybody. He was even proud of me when I had a huge argument with my high school principal. My principal was in the wrong but wouldn't admit to it so my parents were called to see him. My dad then threatened to belt him over the head with a piece of 4x2. It's quite evident where I got my aggressive nature from. ------------------ Righty o then mate. The worst is something im not proud of at all...smoking, what an idiot I was to even start...procrastination and myself go way back..it will still be there later, so why worry with it now. OH! I bite my nails beyond recognition! I just can't get enough, I WANT MORE! And I eat about 5 pounds of chocolate a week! (no joke!) I also spend a lot of time 'jacked', which is my brand-spanking new term for being online! I also see about 1-2 movies a week in the theaters, that does not include renting or buying! I guess that's a habit! I always eat things one at a time! BTW the #5 is the 2x cheeseburger meal. I get 2 cheeseburgers, supersized fries, and a supersized root-beer with no ice! I eat all the fries, then a burger, then drink my drink, then stuff the other burger down! ------------------ |

I used to have a habit of breaking into my friend's dormroom to play on his N64, but sadly he sold it, so now I break in to eat all of his food and drink all of his pepsi and put all of his porn up on the walls so when people come over he is deeply embarrassed and oh yeah I smoke a pack of cigarettes every two days. |

You get it with no ice too? I can't stand ice in cokes because it waters them down. I even like "hot" cokes which are unrefridguated(sp) cokes. As for my habits, the board is the main one, which causes my next one, procrastination. I always get the stuff done but I always put it off. I don't bite my nails, I pick them with my other finger nails. I have braces so it's a little hard to bite those little things. And I have to have a Pepsi at least once a day. I have a few habits that I'd like to get under control: 1. My fingers are ruined by constant biting. 2. Lately I haven't bothered wiping after number 2. I mean, jeez, I'll probably change my underwear tomorrow, so why the hassle? 3. I play Nintendo instead of homework. 4. I go to the Riverboat instead of homework. I always perfer sleeping in shorts and on the floor than to sleep with sweats and on my bed since I love the cold and the floor is just so comfortable with it's hard floor and small throw-up on it. I actually love it even more during winter and with a window cacked. I might have caught a few colds doin' this but it's just a nice feeling of waking up on the ground with very little weight on my skinny, pale legs.------------------ |

At first my reply was 'No Comment', but I guess I can get used to sleeping in the cold and on the floor is because I always take cold showers. It just feels )sort of) nice to freeze your arse off. Also, during heavy rains, all of my friends can find me standing in the middle of the downpour just cause I LOVE the cold and the wet nature of rain. Also, I would never sleep nake for various personal reasons and also I have a giant comfortable quilt that I usually use to wrap myself in for comfot, not warmth mind you. And every other night that I don't use a quilt, I sleep with nothing covering me when I sleep. Also, when did this thread become a thread about how dorks sleep???? A pair of boxers is all I wear, and I use a sheet and a comforter. If I get too warm (during the summer) then I just use the sheet and have the comforter up to about my waist. I love that feeling of warmth that a comforter provides in the morning. I never want to get out of bed. Now that I think of it, I've been wearing less and less as I've gotten older. When I was young I wore full fledged pajamas. You know, the ones that usually have cartoon characters or something on the front. |

I wear these sort of swim trunk thing with the mesh inside cut out. It's super comfortable. And then I wear a baggy T-Shirt, at the moment, it's a MSDN one my dad picked up at PC EXPO. And until summer hits, I have a sheet, a blanket, and a comforter. I also have this really big "pillow" that was made out of two towels and stuffing was put inside them. Then the towels were sowed together. It's pretty coffy sometimes, but sometimes I feel like a regulare pillow. Never gone naked, my door ain't even shut when I go to bed  , but I intend to when I get married. |

Yeah, I agree, being cold, no thank you.. I like hot showers, and I never go to bed with my hair wet to long and thick it would just make everything else wet too. I like to feel the weight of blankets on top on me, (and of course when I was little I thought vampires couldn't bite through the blankets so I would be safe ) makes me feel secure. Hey, who says I was a magic based fighter. Personally, chanting is not my thing and I perfer hand to hand (ala, Zelda) than depending on magic (ala Turnbased RPGs). wow! When I sleep I wear a tshirt and a pair of shorts and sometimes just a tshirt... I love the feeling of a comforter on me, but I get hot pretty easily so in summer months that really stinks. In fact I usually turn on the AC (even on cold nights) before I go to sleep, then I can burrow under the covers with my teddy bear and sleep. Some interesting revelations here! |

I usually wear sweatpants (or shorts durind the summer) and a shirt of some type to bed. I for one DO NOT like the cold or being cold either, I like to be nice and WARM. I usually sleep on my right side or sometimes my chest. |

Let's see. Habits. Well, I bite my nails. Doesn't everyone. I always have to have something in my mouth. Be it paper, gum, toothpick(my favorite). I have a bad habit of smoking, which I'm almost down to the quitting stage. I've been systematically cutting down for the last couple of weeks. Soon, I'll just be done. I have a habit of playing my nintendo, or any video system, including the arcades, all the time. If it's not that, then I'm on the net. And if it's neither of those, I'm watching T.V. or a movie. I watch the same movies over and over and over. All of the time. Currently, I'm watching the Wedding Singer, Austin Powers, and the opera Les Miserables. Since a lot of people have been talking about their sleeping habits, I'll indulge mine. I sleep in the buff, and I use a sheet. I use flat pillows, because I hate the big fluffy ones. Oh, and instead of laying on a bed the normal way, I sleep across the bed. ?!?!? I don't know what that's about, it makes my feet hang off of the side of the bed, which to me is uncomfortable, so I use the computer chair in my room and lay my feet on that. Oh god how I wish the cold would return. For the last two days, it has been 96-95 degrees. You just walk outside and poof! You're sweating. We have the cooler running constantly now. We keep the thermostat at 75, and it hasn't once been cooled down to that temperature yet. Oh man, I start to feel my blood boil........ |

I have this nasty, nasty habit of staying up until 5 AM or so on a schoolnight posting pointless messages on the UBB. I also procrastinate like crazy (I even wrote an essay on it for AP English... 5 minutes before class, of course... I cited my "first-hand research"). I'll have to type the sucker up for you guys, come to think of it. And I think you guys just get a kick of hearing what other people wear to bed. ------------------ |

To Dragona Akehi: I don't know about that. Personally, I hate both the hot and the cold, and prefer to sleep in just a plain old warm room. Of course, if it's cold you can always wrap the blankets tighter around you, but if it's really hot, you can't do much, so I'd rather it was cold than hot. To james007: I've tried sleeping naked once before, and I thought it was pretty damn comfortable. But I live in the dorms, and I'm not too comfortable with the idea of being naked around other guys. |

Sleeping in a cold space is the best! I hate it when I crawl into bed and my pillow/blanket is hot! It pisses me off! So I put my pillow infront of the window or something!.. Sleeping naked? I've tried it once, but I but back on my boxers, I found it uncomfotable! And I have the same problem as Greg777, staying up till end hours of the night replying on this board! And I miss the cold weather as well but how hot is 95-96°? Out here it's been to about -50°c, does that sound right james007? The lowest I've seen/felt is -44°c here in grade 7. I was standing waiting for the bus, DAMN that's cold! BTW -44°c is about -47°f! ------------------ |

Some other habits o' mines would include having me take duscussions and throwing them out the window (as demonstrated previously in this thread). Then I sometimes (read-always) talk too much for my own good (yet at the same time I am always silent), and I seem to forget to . . . . . What was I saying again???? Oh well, it's nothing anyways. And of course I seem to stay up a bit too much in the nights for my own good, but not much of it is going to the board but playing video games . And I have seem to pick up the habit of drinking cofee now, which I don't really care. One of the reason's that I've heard for women always being cold is because of our cave man days. Women produced the children so they just needed to keep their middle's warm. The men did all the hunting and gathering so they had to have their extremities warmed. So men stay hotter than women because they had to, to survive. |

1) Aiming for the head whenever I play Turok or Goldeneye 2) In Goldeneye, shooting the good guys when I'm not playing serious, just can't resist shooting those guys in the white jackets in mission 2, especially when they're running away with their arms in the air, and also aiming for the head, or shooting countless times in the chest. 3) Waiting until I'm almost on E (empty), before I get gas, for my car. Hey, it's a good test to see how accurate the gas gauge is. ------------------ |

Yeah, I'm known for waiting until E to fill up on gas. One time I actually ran out of gas and got stuck out in the desert with my fiancee, my sister and her b/f. We were out in the middle of nowhere, on a truck route. The bad thing about it was, was that I missed my band concert that night. The only one I ever missed in my life was at that time.... Stupid CAR!!!!! |

All right, I'll jump in: 1. Returning to previous bad habits that I had successfully quit for a long period of time. eg. I smoked off and on from the age of 16 till 28, one time stopping for 18 months, another time stopping for 1 year, now I've been off dem cigs for almost 8 months (I'm sure I'll catch heck for writing this one down, but come on guys, I KNOW many of you can relate!) This may be my worst habit, but when I get hungry, my morality and concern for others go out the window. ------------------ |

Of course one of my habits is procratinating, then comes nail biting. Another strange one that i have is that i always eat my fries last whenever i have them. Also for those of you who prefer the cold and the rain i recamend that go and move to ireland. It has the perfect weather for, rains all year round, it will not get much above 70 in the summer and in the winter it does not normally snow so you don't have to worry about any snow storms. |

I have a tendancy to put off getting something to eat whether it be lunch, supper, or anything, until I get things that I have to do or want to do, done. Which might explain why I get a headache often, heh heh. It's common to get a headache when you aren't eating right. ------------------ |

I also have the tendancy to be hard on things. I slam doors whenever I close them. When I walk around sometimes I stomp. Whenever some little metal piece gets bent, I have to just fix it. The end result is I end up breaking it. These things are all accidents (if you could call it that) of course, but they are still habits. I'll learn one of these days not to punch walls to hard (many a hole have I put into a wall because of my anger). Glad I'm not as angry as I used to be. |
