Happy New Years!

To start of the year, the AP has a case of multiple personality disorder, by using the exact same poll to both proclaim that Americans are pessimistic and optimistic on 2007. The other amusing thing with this poll is a full quarter of the people who responded believe Jesus Christ will return in 2007.

I've been researching my trip to DC/NYC, and stumbled upon a page for the best pizza in NYC. Jackpot! And I found out that Winter Restaurant Week will be going on when I'll be there as well, so I'll be eating good my entire trip. I also found that there are even food tours available.

Also while looking up stuff for the trip, I discovered that the Met offers seats that have no view of the stage, but let you listen to the opera. Pretty cool, but I think I'd rather see it.

CNN has hit a new low, not only by doing a 3 minute report on Barack Obama's wardrobe, but by then linking him with Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because, gasp, they both wear jackets with no tie. That was some quality reporting right there. And people think the news is too liberal?
