This is my first update from my new phone. I got it a few weeks ago, and so far love it. It's a G2, which is the sequel to my original smart phone, the G1. It's pretty amazing how far Android has come in the last 2 years. I'm typing this on the on screen keyboard which wasn't even available when I got that very first Android phone. Now I can use this cool Swype feature to just trace the letters I want with the onscreen keyboard with out even having to hunt and peck or be very exact at all. It's awesome.
it also includes some speech recognition. this paragraph was translated by my voice. You can tell it to send a text message or any other voice command too. It can even translate foreign languages, and spit out a translation of it. It's literally like star trek technology!
It's also one of the first phones with 4G speeds on t-mobile. It's not quite as fast as my cable modem, but way faster than normal 3g speeds. It's fun to live in the future!
