I have a lot of random thoughts for things I should write on here. But by the time I get to a computer and have time to actually write it down, I've already forgotten what I wanted to write. I know I have my phone, but it's annoying to type on such a tiny screen.
It snowed in Austin last night. Well first it sleeted to leave a nice layer of ice on the ground, and then it snowed. It wasn't much, only about half an inch, but it's the most snow I've seen here since I moved here 4 years ago. And of course because Austin drivers are terrible anyways, there were a ton of accidents this morning as people attempted to go 60 on the ice. I just worked from home until it got above freezing, and am being a homebody tonight while the melted snow freezes. A lot of the snow did evaporate already, and actually the most dangerous part of my commute to work this afternoon was just getting to the parking lot. The sidewalk was in the shade and had a nice thick layer of ice on it, so I had to hug the railing as I climbed up the little hill to get to the parking lot. It's supposed to be 65 tomorrow. So it goes.
We're playing Earthworm Jim on the Wii tonight. Which it's amazing to think that there are Sega Genesis games on a Nintendo platform. That was inconceivable when I was a kid, yet today it's expected.
