Look, it's an update! I figure since there's a lot going on at the moment now is as good a time as ever to do some digital sharing.

I'm also typing this in Fedora 12 as my laptop hard drive crashed after over 6 years of service. I suppose it was its time. But I already had backups so no harm done, and now I have a 160GB hard drive instead of 60GB. But I can't remember my ufl.edu email address login. Not that I use that account really at all anymore, but it was still nice to have.

Me and Kara have our SXSW wristbands and I'm looking forward to showing her how awesome SXSW is for the first time. I still have no idea which of the thousands of bands I've never heard of to see, but I'm sure to figure it out eventually. The only downside of the week is the lack of sleep, but I've OK the last two years!

Best "Save the Date" ever. Instead of a card, this couple created their own wedding trailer.

Who knew that you could cram almost 2600 calories into a single chicken pasta dish? It's amazing how many calories are in restaurant food. No wonder I've gained so much weight!

My parents are coming up for the weekend, and Kara's mom comes in late Saturday so they'll get to meet for the first time. Should be interesting. We're going to the Zilker kite festival on Sunday since it was rained out last weekend. I'm not sure how windy it'll be, but it will be 78 and sunny. I'm sooo glad winter is over, and Kara's even more excited about not wearing a coat since she's been living in winter for 19 months now with all her moving.

Slate had a really interesting article on the green running man that marks exits in countries outside the US. I LOVE that guy, and always miss him once I get back to the states. I just like that he is always running to get out, not walking, but hauling his butt out of there.

And on a final note, this is for the idiot motorcyclist who side-swiped my car this afternoon while I was waiting at a stop light. Instead of waiting with the rest of us, he went in the middle between the cars and gave it a 3 foot scratch before riding off without stopping. Luckily it wasn't too deep and with some elbow grease, ScratchX, and help from Kara, we were able to buff it out pretty well. But that doesn't make the guy any less of an idiot.
